Tower of Tampons spreads love, through the distribution of donated feminine hygiene products, thousands at a time! We believe that a single act of kindness can make a difference in the community.
WHO WE ARE
Here at Tower of Tampons, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for women. Through generous donations, we distribute feminine hygiene products to agencies, schools, and shelters in our community. It is our hope to restore dignity for women who would otherwise go without these products.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
ALLISON LUTH
Co-Founder
Allison is co-owner of a residential cleaning business, Purely Maid, prior to which she worked in the mental health field for 15 years. She is a graduate of Hastings College, the mom of Willa and Henrik, and the Tower of Tampons is her favorite time of year. Allison is an animal lover, a mountain lover, and a beer lover. Not necessarily in that order.
TOSHA BENES
Co-Founder
Tosha has 16 years experience in the Human Services field, and helping others is her passion. Tosha is a mom to 2 amazing teenagers (Xander and Adah), and 3 year old Sheepadoodle (Winston). Tosha loves being outside, gardening, and drinking wine. Co-owner of a residential cleaning business, Purely Maid, for 13 years. She has found that people want to help out others, and loves that the Tower of Tampons has brought the community together to do just that!
KALIKA JANTZEN
Board Member
Kalika is a graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan and then received a Masters in Counseling from Doane. She has been practicing counseling in Lincoln and surrounding communities for 15 years, with a passion for serving others and destigmatizing issues that deserve attention and support. She is now part of Southeast Community College, counseling students to be their most successful selves as they strive for education. She is from small town, Sterling, NE, and has been married to husband Nic, for 12 years. Kalika and Nic have 3 great kids! She loves reading, trying new foods, travel, and Husker volleyball! Fun fact: Favorite animal is an octopus.
MELISSA BATT
Board Member
Melissa worked in the Human Services world for 14 years and witnessed first hand how hard it is for those less fortunate to obtain basic necessities (feminine products being one). Melissa finds joy in helping others, and is currently working for LPS as a Paraeducator in The Early Childhood Department. Melissa has two very active boys, and spends most of her time at ball games. You might find Melissa at the Haymarket Farmers Market along side her husband, Josh, who is the owner of Triple B Screenprinting.
